About the Coalition
The Coalition for Change was formed by People for Change in 2009 to provide a voice for the grassroots in local elections in Prince George's County.
The establishment identified their candidate, built their machine and others were being left out.
The group works with grassroots leaders, voters, and community activists across the county to identify and support strong candidates to move Prince George's County in a new direction.
No longer will we allow developers, unions, lobbyists, special interests and definitely not other elected officials to decide who is the best candidate to represent us. No longer will we allow the same individuals back in office who have not represented the people.
Our Purpose is to:

bring together like-minded people and groups to focus on the priorities of Prince George's County

solicit input, ideas and solutions from leaders across the County to help shape the agenda for campaigns

channel effective feedback to our elected officials and hold them accountable

provide ongoing feedback and communications with our communities, constituents and leaders

put in place the right leadership for Prince George's County and the State of Maryland
