Who is Buying the Candidates?
Candidate receives close to $1 million dollars in loans:

We need to send a message to this candidate and others who run for office that we do not want to elect someone who is good at legal loopholes. We want candidates with integrity, honesty and transparency.
This is a classic example of how outside interests buy a candidate so that they can have access if the candidate gets in office.
On March 16, 2010 People for Change testified in Annapolis in support of House Bill 1383.
On Wednesday, March 17, County 1 releases the slate. It now shows that one major donor has loaned $200,000 to a candidate. You tell me who is trying to buy Prince George's County?
This bill requires a slate that makes transfers in a cumulative amount of more than $6,000 to the campaign finance entity of one of its members during a period to file a campaign finance report for the reporting period, as specified; it requires the campaign finance report to be filed on a specified date; and provides that the State Board of Elections is not required to provide notice to a specified entity that a campaign finance report is to be filed under the Act.
It's more important now that we stay alert and follow the money. Read the article below and make certain to click on the links for more information. Stay tuned......
